The Islands of Loreto, five beautiful and protected islands, offer amazing diving. Whether you are a beginner or advanced diver, you will fall in love with the volcanic formations, reefs and multitude of tropical fish and invertebrate life that abound in this area. Certified divers can experience different trips that will take you to our local sites, Danzante Island and the coast, Coronado and Carmen Island. Each island offers unique geology and underwater formations.
"The World's Aquarium" boasts 5,000 species of sea life. Some of the species you can encounter include: Barracuda, Grouper, Sea Bass, black coral bank, several type of jacks, rock formations (pinnacles) from sea turtles, mobulas, sea horses, dolphins, blue fin, 7 types of whales including Humpback whales, starfish and more!
Along with one of the largest marine parks in the world, Loreto has incredible diving sites for beginners and experienced divers. The islands themselves are volcanic in nature, marked by rocky shorelines, dynamic walls, huge underwater rock formations and finger reefs of rock and coral. Advanced as well as novice divers are sure to find numerous locations for adventure, such as the sunken navy mine sweeper boat, as well as a diverse mix of marine life. Named "The Aquarium of the World” by Jacques Cousteau, it is an unforgettable experience that offers great marine life, diversity, and fun as part of the Bay of Loreto National Marine Park at the Sea of Cortez.
We are glad to offer our in–house SCUBA service for certified divers and non-certified divers at six different amazing dive sites.
Our dive groups are small, with a maximum of 6 people per trip and a minimum of 2. All of our boats have overhangs for shade, with our typical boat being 26ft.
