Gerardo Garcia Martinez, Sous Chef

Chef Gerardo was born in Mexico city  on June 3, 1973, where he grew up and began his career in the "Casa de Campo" Restaurant as the cold table chef, participating in several and international culinary events with renowned and recognized Chefs such as; Vicente Etchegaray, Olivier Lombart, Thierry Doufort, who are members of the "Vatel Club", acquiring his knowledge in the old cuisine linked to the "novel cuisine" finishing his position as a Sous Chef.

He moved to the beautiful B.C.S. (Baja California Sur) looking for new gastronomic trends, working in different restaurants and hotels, such as "Villa Margarita", "Pueblo Bonito Rose Hotel", "Westin Los Cabos", "Hotel Marquis Los Cabos", "Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Hotel", in Supervisor positions; Kitchen Manager, Garden Manager, Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, Weddings, Specialty Chef and then arriving to "Villa Del Palmar Loreto" where he is excited with the opportunity to serve our guests while meeting and exceeding their expectations.
