Upgrades and Updates

Construction continues for The Villa Group in both Cabo San Lucas and Riviera Nayarit this spring, with a pair of projects working their way toward completion. And in Puerto Vallarta, room upgrades are bringing a fresh look to a long time favorite.

The highly anticipated Villa La Estancia in Riviera Nayarit held a soft opening of phase one of its 135 beachfront villas. Fifty suites of the three-phase project are now available on a limited basis as an upgrade to guests arriving at the adjacent Villa del Palmar Flamingos. Bookings are now being accepted on stays starting November 1, 2007.

The property's snack bar opened last month, while the main lobby and restaurant will open in November 2007 along with 35 additional units. The final phase of 50 units is slated for completion in May 2008.

Similar in design and appeal to Villa La Estancia Cabo San Lucas, the Riviera Nayarit property features floor plans that range from 1,950 - 3,500 square feet and include two bedrooms with three full baths or three bedrooms with four full baths. Special services and touches will include an incomparable full-service spa, gourmet restaurants, multi-level swimming pool, 24-hour concierge-style check-in, wireless communication throughout the property, a hospitality room, guest activities desk, business services, lighted tennis court use, medical services, 24-hour security, laundry services, and in-suite dishwasher as well as washer and dryer.

Upgrades at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta Beach Resort & Spa include refreshing guest rooms with new furnishings, artwork, bedding, flooring and wall coverings. In addition, kitchens and kitchenettes are being modernized with new appliances, tile, cabinets and countertops. The three-phase project should be completed in 2010.

In Cabo San Lucas, the final phase of construction is nearly complete at Villa del Arco. All guest rooms are scheduled for completion in June, as is the 31,000 square foot Spa. Completion of this final phase caps off a master plan for this private enclave of Villa Group properties to provide guests with an upscale, self contained environment that offers a bit of everything they seek in a Cabo vacation.
