Whale Watching
Each winter season, the temperate waters in the Bay of Loreto become home to six species of whale - Fin, Sei, Humpback, Bryde's and Pilot whales, as well as the world's largest mammal - the Blue whale. You can also travel to the Pacific side of the Baja to experience the winter nursery grounds of the mighty Gray whale. In February and March, more than 27,000 Gray whales migrate from the Bering Strait each year.
